They are not ghosts, spirits, nightmare hags or creatures.  They are dark, humanoid shapes that appear at bedsides at night, and other locations.  Sometimes they appear during the daylight.  They seem to possess independent intelligence and awareness.  Who are the Shadow People, and what are they doing in our world?

I am researching the Shadow People and am collecting personal experiences for a database and a book.  I have one of the largest databases of accounts, which is providing valuable insights into patterns of behavior, circumstances and characteristics.
