What a great weekend in LA (and a nice break from the wintry gloom of the East Coast, too). I’m very excited about the project that took me out there this past weekend. I spent an afternoon Friday filming for special features for the DVD set of season four of the hit show, Supernatural. It was terrific to work with the producers, Alexander Gray of Studio West Pictures, Inc., and Jeff Maynard of Amity Pictures, Inc., and their crew. Alexander and Jeff are producing an intriguing and creative “Dante’s Inferno” road map of topics and themes the show has dealt with, from heaven to purgatory to hell. We got into angels, demons, the Watchers and Nephilim, Enoch, Michael, Uriel, Azazel, the book of Revelation, Armageddon, 2012, Shadow People, concepts of heaven and hell, ghosts and more. Wow!

I received this lovely comment from Alexander:
“Thank you for the wonderful interview you provided to us last Friday. Your insight is tremendous, and highly intriguing, of which I am certain the fans are just going to love.”

They have a terrific lineup of paranormal talent, making the special features plus the show an absolute must for fans. And if you aren’t already hooked on Supernatural, you will be with this!

The DVDs will be released in August, distributed through Warner Home Video on the Supernatural Season 4 DVD/Blu-Ray.

Later the same evening, I went out to Sherman Oaks and joined George Noory in his broadcast studio for an intense three hours live on Coast to Coast AM. Being in the studio is a rare treat, and it was good to see George and his producer, Tom Danheiser. Friday is usually an open lines night, and we ranged over a wide variety of subjects, including Frank’s Boxes, Shadow People, portals, djinn, 2012 and dreams. (That’s my Mini-Box by Ron Ricketts in the photo.) I always get a lot of email after Coast to Coast, but this show, which I think was one of the best I’ve done with George, seems to have hit a lot of buttons. I am under an avalanche of responses, and accounts of Shadow People experiences and photographs are pouring in. Thanks everyone, and please understand if it takes me a while to answer!

It was a whirlwind trip – out early Friday, up for 24 hours straight – then back home on Saturday, just ahead of the snow.

In other news…
– I’m confirmed again as a guest speaker for this year’s mighty Dragon*Con, always in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend (September 4-7). I’ll be on the Dark Fantasy track.

– Here’s my talk for DraculaCon in Windber, PA April 24-26, hosted by Blair Murphy:

Mondo Bizarro Real Vampire Tales
Rosemary Ellen Guiley digs down into her V-Files Vault to unearth some of the weirdest but true accounts of real vampires. Hollywood should sink its fangs into these! Funny, quirky and break-the-stereotype mold, these accounts will challenge what you think you know about vampires!

I love checking up on all the assorted styles of 12-21-2012 mayan prophecy, I suppose one smashing thing that has come of all of this, even if nothing passes is that it has opened our psyches to the possibility that we may not be here forever and that we need to cherish the lifetime we have.
