Hi Folks,

Yesterday I was in LA to film for several episodes of the Animal Planet’s hit show, The Lost Tapes, which features the evidence for supernatural creatures and monsters. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Bo Palinic and Amy Brown from Go Go Luckey Productions. The show is entering its second season. We shot for several episodes, including vampires, werewolves, and ET’s. Vampires and werewolves will air close to Halloween.

Other exciting news:

The Possessed, a docu drama from the Booth Brothers of Spooked TV Productions, has been released on DVD. It features dramatic possession cases such as the one that inspired The Exorcist. I’m in it, talking about the Watseka Possession, in which a dead girl temporarily possessed a living girl in order to briefly reunite with her family.

My friend and colleague Rick Fisher, founder of the Paranormal Pennsylvania Society, and I have concluded a book deal with Llewellyn Publications to co author a book on the Ouija. We have a great deal of fascinating material on this controversial device. While in Salem, MA recently, we had the good fortune to meet Christian Day, the owner of the fabulous Hex shop in town. Christian has had extensive experience with the Ouija, and he in turn introduced us to Bob Murch, who owns probably the world’s largest collection of boards and has connections to the family of William Fuld, one of the developers of the board.

On our last night in Salem, I invited Christian to do a seance with our group of investigator friends, including Melissa Telesha, Laura Shank, and Heidi Blauer. We had an intriguing evening – I’ll save the details for the book!

And by the way, if you visit Salem, do not leave without dropping by the Hex shop, which offers a beautiful collection of books, jewelry and magical items. Have a reading there with Lori Bruno, a Witch from the Italian Strega tradition. I did, and she is a lovely and gifted woman.

I’m deep into the research for the book on high tech spirit communications that I am co authoring with George Noory, the host of Coast to Coast AM. It’s going to be a busy and intense summer of research and travel!
