ROSEMARY ELLEN GUILEY NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2009
Hi Folks,
Post-Halloween I am back at the research and writing, and am collecting stories for several book projects. If you’d like to share one of yours in the following categories, please email me at reguiley@gmail.com. If I can use it in one of the books, I will notify you for permission. Anonymity is no problem. All accounts go into my research databases, which help me in studying the paranormal.
OUIJA BOARD – The good, the bad and the ugly! Not all Ouija experiences are negative, so don’t hesitate to send in stories about positive or benign experiences. What do you think about the board, and why? My co-author Rick Fisher and I are working on this one for Llewellyn for release next year.
DJINN – The djinn are a race of beings often compared to demons, but are not the same. Most of them live in a parallel dimension. They have great supernatural powers and are artful shapeshifters. They are the source of what we know as the genie. Have you encountered the djinn? I am co-authoring this with Philip J. Imbrogno for Llewellyn.
SHADOW PEOPLE – These are dark humanoid shadows, usually bedroom visitors who stand by beds and stare with their featureless faces. They also slip around houses and around in the woods, and are seen in some haunted locations. They seem malevolent and terrify most witnesses. Some encounters with them are benign. There is an overlap with ET experiences, but not all involve both.
ORBS – I am interested in moving orbs that exhibit intelligence. Some are associated with UFO activity and some with spirits and haunted places. Some are bedroom visitors. I am especially looking for accounts in which people encounter moving orbs and communicate or are affected by them. Many people feel harmed or sickened by the energy.
NEW BOOK RELEASE

Spirit Communications is my newest release in the young adult series Mysteries, Legends and Unexplained Phenomena, published by Chelsea House. I am consulting editor of the series, and have written six of the 15 titles. Spirit Communications covers mediumship, channeling, prophecy, divination, and high-tech devices used in paranormal research and investigation. Also published at the same time is Magic and Alchemy, authored by Robert Michael Place. Bob is internationally known for his expertise in magic and alchemy, and for his beautiful Tarot decks.
FATE MAGAZINE
Subscribers to FATE are wondering what’s been happening with the magazine. It has undergone a financial and organizational restructuring and is under the new ownership of LVX Inc. I am still a consulting editor and writer for the magazine, and my work will begin appearing again in print and online at www.fatemag.com. I have been associated with FATE since 1991. Former publisher Phyllis Galde, a long-time friend, will continue with the magazine as a writer.
THANKSGIVING arrives this month, and I will be celebrating with friends. I am thankful for fascinating work in the paranormal, and for your support and interest. Have a wonderful holiday!
