Holiday greetings everyone! I hope the end of the year finds you well. I wrapped up an exceptionally busy fall season, highlighted by Halloween in Salem, MA, a Mothman research trip in Pt. Pleasant, WV, and a fabulous, five-day trip to New Orleans to research Voodoo, ghosts, vampires and saints. One highlight was meeting Marita at the Boutique due Vampyre, one of the few vampire shops in the world. I hope to go back and do a booksigning there next summer.

In November I filmed for Richard Syrett’s new TV show in Canada, The Conspiracy Show, on location in New York City. Topics were vampires and werewolves. I have more filming for new projects coming up next year… details will be released soon.

I spend winter doing a lot of development work and writing, and I have a lot of projects in the works, especially to get some of my backlist back into print.

The DJINN keep getting bigger and bigger as hot topics in the paranormal and media. Several films are in the works in Hollywood, and my co-author, Phil Imbrogno, and I are getting increasing requests for interviews on the topic. We are both at work on some media projects — more details coming in the new year!

I am quoted, along with Katherine Ramsland, in this article on the appeals of role-playing. In particular, I address the vampire role-playing games:

TRIPPIN’ WITH THE GHOST RESEARCH SOCIETY
I have been associated with Dale Kaczmarek’s Ghost Research Society in Chicago for many years, and currently serve as their East Coast representative. I enjoy investigating with them, and I have received a lot of help from their viodeographer, Joey Tito, who has written his first book about some of the team’s adventures. I contributed the foreword to the book, and it is available from the Ghost Research Society Press. Joey chronicles real paranormal investigations, not the fabricated stuff shown on “reality” TV. Joey is a great story-teller, and Delving Into the Unknown is a fast-paced, funny read!

Delving Into The Unknown by Joey Tito
Long distance travels, lengthy investigations, sleepless nights, shady hotels, and or course chance encounters with the unknown. All aspects of paranormal research are covered in a literal and at times comedic, nonsensical fashion. Whether it be protocol or proper equipment use, you will know how the standard is set. The author also breaks down several investigations performed by the GRS at well known haunted locations, private homes and businesses alike.
